Tabarca–Santa Pola Open Water Swim 2026
Dear Participants,
We are writing to inform you about the Tabarca–Santa Pola Open Water Swim 2026, which will take place on July 5, 2026.
Once again, we regret to inform you that we cannot guarantee that the event will be held entirely on the original course. There are external factors beyond the organization’s control—mainly related to conditions and administrative permits—that may require modifications.
For this reason, we remind you that registration for the event implies the explicit acceptance of the regulations, which clearly and comprehensively detail all the rules governing the swim. We kindly ask that anyone who is not willing to comply with these rules refrain from completing the pre-registration process.
We are fully aware of the excitement and expectations this swim generates: months of preparation, effort, and the desire to take part in what many consider the celebration of open water swimming. When circumstances force us to introduce changes that may affect these expectations, we understand the discomfort this may cause; in fact, we are the first to regret it. Therefore, we ask for your understanding in situations that, as we emphasize, are not always within our control.
The rules are established in advance and are known to all participants from the moment of registration. In 2026, we will celebrate the 29th edition of the Swim, whose spirit and essence have been based, since its inception, on respect for these rules by everyone involved.
Our wish is that, together—organization, sponsors, volunteers, and participants—we continue to build a unique and special experience: the Tabarca–Santa Pola Open Water Swim.
